Book Your Coaching Session

1. NATURE OF COACHING

I understand that the coaching services provided by Richard Botchway are faith-based life coaching services, not therapy, counselling, psychology, or any form of medical or mental health treatment. Coaching focuses on helping me identify goals, develop strategies, and take action toward positive change in my life, guided by biblical principles.

2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

As a client, I agree to:

• Be open, honest, and willing to engage fully in the coaching process
• Take responsibility for my own choices, decisions, and actions
• Attend scheduled sessions on time and be prepared to participate
• Complete any agreed-upon assignments or reflection exercises between sessions
• Communicate openly if any aspect of coaching is not meeting my needs
• Understand that results depend on my own commitment and effort

3. CONFIDENTIALITY

I understand that all information shared during coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential by the Coach, except in the following circumstances:

• If I express intent to harm myself or others
• If there is disclosure of abuse involving a minor or vulnerable adult
• If disclosure is required by law
• With my written consent for specific purposes

4. SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

I understand and accept that The Safe Haven operates from a Christian faith perspective. Coaching sessions may include prayer, Scripture references, and faith-based guidance. I am comfortable with this approach and understand that I am free to express my own beliefs and spiritual journey without judgment.

5. SESSION SCHEDULING & CANCELLATION

• Sessions must be rescheduled or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may result in forfeiture of the session
• No-shows will be counted as a completed session
• The Coach will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests

6. PAYMENT TERMS

• Payment is required in full before the first session unless otherwise agreed
• Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no sessions have been used
• Partial refunds are not available once coaching has commenced
• Package sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

I understand that coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. I agree to seek appropriate professional help for any issues that fall outside the scope of life coaching. I release Richard Botchway and The Safe Haven from any liability for decisions I make as a result of coaching.

8. COMMUNICATION

Between sessions, limited email or message support may be available for brief questions or updates. Extensive support between sessions is not included and may require additional sessions or fees.

9. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate this coaching relationship at any time with written notice. If the Client terminates, refunds will be subject to the terms in Section 6. The Coach reserves the right to terminate the relationship if the Client's behaviour is inappropriate or if coaching is not in the Client's best interest.

10. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By checking the box below and entering my initials, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all the terms of this Coaching Agreement. I am entering into this agreement voluntarily and with full understanding of its contents.
